This collaboration will introduce BetMGM's sports betting platform to customers in Missouri. BetMGM will utilize Century's license to offer an online and mobile sports betting app in the state. According to a press release, the agreement includes a share of net gaming revenue for Century, along with a guaranteed minimum, and options for a retail sportsbook at Century's discretion. However, Century Casinos noted that this partnership depends on acquiring the necessary regulatory approvals and gaming licenses. In November of last year, Missouri voters narrowly passed Amendment 2, legalizing sports betting. The Missouri Gaming Commission is set to oversee the regulation of this new gambling activity, thanks to the voters' approval, which has opened the door for legal betting. Despite legalization, Missouri has yet to roll out sports betting. The official launch of legal online sports wagering is anticipated by December 1, 2025.
