The duo extend their agreement for five more years

The company teamed up with Sony Pictures in 2015 to become a licensee of the Ghostbusters franchise. On Wednesday, Brightstar Lottery announced a new five-year extension of this partnership, allowing them to continue offering games based on this globally recognizable franchise. As a result, Brightstar will keep developing and distributing Ghostbusters-themed omnichannel lottery games, enhancing offerings for its partners worldwide. Matthew Whalen, Senior Vice President of Global Instant Ticket Services at Brightstar Lottery, emphasized the significance of this alliance. Since 2015, we've proudly been a licensee of Sony Pictures' Ghostbusters and are thrilled to keep bringing this fan-favorite to life in new and engaging ways, he shared. Whalen noted that the Sony partnership has led to the launch of over 25 Ghostbusters-themed games with about two dozen operators globally. These games range from traditional instant tickets with high-definition symbols, our patented Infinity Instants lottery tickets, Fast Play games, to an exclusive eInstant game, he added.
