Brightstar's Vice President, Michelle Carney, Inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame

International Game Technology, a leading global gaming company, has announced that Michelle Carney, Vice President of Global Lottery Marketing for its lottery division, Brightstar Lottery, will be inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame.

Recently, IGT Lottery underwent a rebranding and is now known as Brightstar Lottery. According to IGT's latest announcement, Carney will be inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. As the Vice President of Global Lottery Marketing at Brightstar Lottery, Carney has been instrumental in shaping the company's marketing and communication strategies. Her contributions have significantly supported the company's growth and expansion, reinforcing its leadership in lottery trade shows, events, and marketing. In addition to developing strategies, Carney plays a crucial role in maintaining Brightstar's relationships with key industry organizations such as European Lotteries, the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), and the World Lottery Association (WLA).

Expressing her excitement, Carney stated: It is a tremendous honor to be inducted into the Lottery Industry Hall of Fame and to stand alongside many lottery professionals who have made significant contributions to our industry. Many of these individuals have inspired and supported me over the years. Recently, under Carney's leadership, the popular Mega Millions draw game underwent significant changes. As a key player in the development and implementation of these new plans on behalf of the Mega Millions Consortium, Carney ensured the game's overhaul was successfully launched in April. Vince Sadusky, the CEO of Brightstar, praised Carney, declaring her an invaluable asset to both the company and the lottery industry as a whole. Throughout her distinguished 25-year career, she has established strategic partnerships, bolstered Brightstar's global lottery leadership, and led innovations that have propelled the evolution of lotteries, he noted.
