One incredibly lucky woman, who tried her luck with a popular lottery game, won a life-changing prize with the very first ticket she purchased. Thatβs the story of one Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia woman, who won division one prize from Weekday Windfall.

The Lott confirmed Monday that a Bundaberg woman scored the single division one winning entry from Weekday Windfallβs draw 4706 on Friday, May 22, 2026. The popular lottery game saw winning numbers 24, 17, 9, 25, 37 and 12, along with supplementary numbers 6 and 28 drawn. Considering that the Bundaberg woman holds the single division one winning entry from Weekday Windfallβs recent drawing, she is entitled to the entire prize of AU$1m ($717,600). The winnerβs 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Sugarland Newsagency, Shop 26 at Sugarland Plaza on Heidke Street in Avoca. In an interview for The Lott, the manager of the newsagency where the division one winning entry was sold confirmed that the same store has sold a total of five division one entries in the last 25 years. Moreover, the manager acknowledged that it is incredibly exciting to help someone become a millionaire.

Contacted by The Lott, the lucky Bundaberg woman admitted that she was initially in disbelief after winning the top prize. The woman said that she couldnβt believe such a hugefortune has come her way when checking the ticket on Friday. I had to ring my daughter and get her to check the ticket to make sure I was right, the winner said. Whatβs even more interesting is the fact that the top prize winning ticket was the very first Weekday Windfall entry she has ever purchased. The winner revealed that one of her friends received a Weekday Windfall ticket from her grandkids, which is why she also decided to give the lottery game a try. Iβve never bought a Weekday Windfall ticket before. I didnβt even know there was a Friday draw! But, on the way home, I went and got a ticket β my very first one, the fortunate woman added, acknowledging that she is still in disbelief. Winning the AU$1m prize comes as a big relief, the winner said, explaining that the windfall will make her life easier. Focusing on the future, the Bundaberg woman said she plans to buy a new car and a washing machine.
