Anders Dorph, Director of Spillemyndigheden, discussed operator compliance, Big Tech, and player monitoring, commending Denmark's industry for its commitment to compliance. Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall and Immerse Group CEO Jesper Kärrbrin addressed crucial topics like player protection, emphasizing meaningful protections, effective enforcement, and competitive products as essential to building robust markets and strong player engagement. Lindwall acknowledged the industry's challenges, stating, We are in a business where there is harm. We must admit this and reflect on this. We also need to be able to reach these players, which we can only do if they are inside of the regulated system. Willem van Oort, founder of Gaming in the Nordics, praised the event's success, noting the participation of key decision-makers and thought leaders from the region.
