Hard Rock Bet has launched in Ontario, Canada, as the company expands deeper into the North American market and strengthens its foothold in regional areas.
Hard Rock Bet breaks iGaming ground in Ontario
Ontario has become the first province to regulate iGaming, with Hard Rock Bet planning to expand locally by offering its extensive collection of 3,000 games to players. These offerings include live dealer content, slots, and table games from some of the top studios in the industry. Players in Ontario now have access to exclusive Legendary Reward Drops titles, can earn Unity Points, and redeem them at the Hard Rock Bet Reward Store. Hard Rock Bet is eager to grow in this local iGaming market. Marlon Goldstein, Hard Rock Digital's Executive Managing Director and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the venture, saying, We're thrilled to bring Ontario players a premium entertainment experience that embodies the energy and service of the Hard Rock brand. By investing in local talent, partnerships, and support, we're crafting an experience tailored for Ontario players. This launch is also an opportunity to introduce Hard Rock Bet’s products beyond the U.S., Goldstein noted. Christine Crump, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, shared this excitement, saying, The launch of Hard Rock Bet is a natural progression for the Hard Rock brand in Ontario, and we’re excited to deepen our connection with guests and players as time goes on. The brand is also eyeing a potential launch in Alberta, the second Canadian province to regulate its iGaming industry with a commercial, license-based model. Although Alberta's market is new, it has already seen millions of geochecks in its first week. Hard Rock Bet's entry into Ontario marks a significant move, being the brand’s debut outside the U.S.
