IGT to Supply Additional VLTs to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation

IGT, the global leader in gaming, digital, and financial technology solutions for top lottery operators, is expanding its presence in North America.

On Monday, the company revealed its partnership with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation to roll out more video lottery terminals across Saskatchewan. According to IGT, its branch IGT Canada Solutions Limited won a competitive bid by the WCLC to supply these terminals. Consequently, this year the company will provide an additional 720 Sierra27 VLTs to enhance WCLC's offerings in Saskatchewan. IGT's Sierra27 VLT is celebrated for its adaptability, combining ease of servicing with player comfort. The VLT features two HD 27-inch screens and a 13.3-inch dynamic player panel equipped with dual bash buttons and a wireless inductive charger. The Sierra27 VLT's game library includes high-performing titles tailored to suit Canadian players' tastes, such as Cash Climb, Tiki Tiki Tiki Mayhem, Garden of Hesperides, and Big City 5’s Diamond, among others. This agreement further strengthens IGT’s footprint in North America. Additionally, it marks the second year in a row that the company has successfully secured the competitive VLT procurement process led by WCLC.

Chad Helm, IGT's VP of Sales for Canada and Oregon, highlighted the significance of their new partnership. He noted that as Canada's leading VLT supplier, IGT is perfectly positioned to assist WCLC in boosting venue performance and enhancing player experiences with proven products and solutions, backed by decades of market expertise. Helm further emphasized that this pivotal agreement with WCLC for an additional 720 IGT Sierra27 VLTs underscores the strength of their collaboration in delivering games that captivate and engage players. Eric Karmark, WCLC's Vice President of VLT Gaming and Operations, shared this enthusiasm. He explained that WCLC chose IGT through a rigorous procurement process, and the additional Sierra27 VLTs will bolster their venue network with hardware and content tailored for the Canadian market. Karmark also acknowledged IGT as a long-established supplier for WCLC and expressed optimism about the success the new collaboration will bring.
