On Tuesday, The Lott uncovered details regarding the fortunate winner, a Logan resident, who, along with four other lucky players, scored a life-changing AU$1.3m ($843,700) from Saturday Gold Lotto's drawing on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The winning numbers from the game's 4617 draw on Saturday were 18, 38, 32, 19, 7 and 10​, while supplementary numbers were 43 and 28. Besides the fortunate mum's division one entry, there were three other division one entries from Victoria, as well as one from New South Wales. Each of the division one winning entries from draw 4617 is looking forward to a life-altering AU$1,303,392.97 ($846,000) payday.

The lucky woman, living in Beenleigh, a town and suburb in the City of Logan, was washing her dogs on Saturday evening right before the lottery game's drawing. After she realized that there were only five minutes before the draw, the woman rushed to purchase a QuickPick 5 entry via The Lott's official app. Funny enough, I almost missed out on entering the draw! I was busy washing the dogs on Saturday evening when I suddenly realized there was only five minutes left before the draw closed, the woman said when contacted by an official from The Lott. The winner thanked the lottery and acknowledged that the prize is completely life-changing. The Beenleigh mum said that she checked her ticket right after the game's drawing on Saturday and after that, she couldn't get any sleep. My heart was racing 200 miles an hour! I only managed to get a couple of hours of sleep, and then I had to go to work the next day. I was a zombie at work the next day, the woman said. It's no surprise that the fortunate winner already has plans for her newfound fortune. Speaking about her kids, the woman said that she will be buying a home and added: I can’t believe it – a home in my name!
