One lucky woman is planning a trip overseas and paying off her mortgage after a life-changing lottery prize. That’s the story of a Riverdale, Maryland woman, who won a multi-million-dollar prize from a scratch-off ticket.

Earlier this week, the Maryland Lottery confirmed that the fortunate woman won one of the remaining top prizes from its $30 200X the Cash game. The woman purchased her ticket at Riggs Grocery on 5405 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale. The lucky Riverdale woman admitted that she was in shock and couldn’t believe what had just happened after seeing the $2m top prize appear on the ticket. Claiming the life-changing prize, the woman’s husband said: She’s been asking me all the time, ‘Do you think it’s real?’ But once the Riverdale woman claimed the top prize at the lottery headquarters in Baltimore, she realized the win wasn’t a scam. Asked about her plans for her newfound fortune, the woman admitted she already has something on her mind. First off, the winner said she will visit family overseas, invest part of the winnings and completely wipe off her mortgage.
Three top prizes are up for grabs from 200X the Cash
Each 200X the Cash scratch-off ticket offers players a chance to win a prize between $30 and $2m. At launch, the 200X the Cash ticket offered a total of five top prizes of $2m each. After the most recent win, now, three top prizes remain in play from the $30 scratch-off ticket. A tier-two prize from the popular game pays out $50,000 and there are four of those remaining in play. On the other hand, a tier-three prize from 200X the Cash pays out $10,000 and there are five such prizes up for grabs. Within the lower prize tiers, many more prizes remain in play from 200X the Cash scratch-off ticket. The overall odds of winning any prize from the $30 game are 1 in 2.84, and each ticket offers 40 chances to win.
