Merkur Group is poised to acquire White Hat Studios.

Merkur Group announced its acquisition of games provider White Hat Studios, although it hasn't revealed the financial details of the deal to the public.

The acquisition greatly enhances Merkur Group's position in the iGaming sector, particularly in the United States, where White Hat Studios operates and provides some of the industry's most notable and valuable games. White Hat Studios was established in 2021 after an agreement with Blueprint Gaming, which enabled White Hat Gaming, the parent company, to acquire the studio's games and RGS technology, creating a strong foundation for the new studio. The company announced plans to speed up its growth in the U.S. by leveraging White Hat Studios' expertise and resources to enhance its operational capacity. This isn't the first time the company has turned to mergers and acquisitions to boost its regional presence. In September, it confirmed plans to acquire Gaming Arts, a Nevada-based supplier. Collaborating with the highly experienced Merkur team will unlock new opportunities for us in igaming and improve our ability to create a top-notch omnichannel offering that will benefit both operators and players, Whitworth stated.
