A winner - or group of winners - has finally stepped forward in Ohio, claiming their $60,000,000 jackpot prize. The ticket was eligible for the prize through September 13, 2026, with the Happy Trails Trust, represented by an attorney, claiming the prize.

Ohio’s Trust Claims Multi-Million Jackpot

This is the first time a Mega Millions jackpot has been won in Ohio since April 18, 2025. The winner(s) claimed the top prize by matching all six numbers and theMega Ball24. The regular numbers were 4, 11, 18, 38, and 50. The ticket was sold on St. Patrick’s Day in Van Wert, and it took a month for the winner(s) to organize and proceed with collecting the money. Bought at a Sunoco gas station at 714 E. Main St., and the store is also getting the customary bonus, in this case, a $60,000 payout. As to the trust, there were two options on the cards. One was a $30mannuity over 30 years.The other was a cash-out option worth $21.97m, which was what the trust went with.
