A fortunate woman purchased her lottery ticket at Zingo Express on North Main Street in Archdale. Although she had played lottery games before, she mentioned that she often buys tickets on a whim. That was my first time buying that ticket. I like to just pick random ones, she shared in an interview with a Lottery official. Unexpectedly, her $5 Prize Link Multiplier ticket won her a life-changing top prize of $200,000. She vividly remembered the moment she realized she had won and confessed that it was overwhelming. It felt so unreal, she remarked. After the initial excitement, she needed time to fully absorb the reality of her big win. She found herself repeatedly reading the ticket's instructions to ensure she was seeing it correctly. While she had experience with lottery games, the Asheboro resident had only ever won smaller prizes before. I think $20 was the most I won until now, she told the North Carolina Education Lottery official. Earlier this week, she visited the Lottery headquarters to claim her prize.
