The world's largest lottery games company, Scientific Games, continues to grow its presence on the Old Continent. Earlier this week, the company announced it emerged as the winner of a tender to deliver instant scratchcard games to Greek players.

More than a dozen new games kick off the new collaboration

The latest accomplishment comes after Hellenic Lotteries, which is part of Allwyn Hellas, the leading gaming group in Greece, selected Scientific Games as a supplier of scratchcards through a competitive and comprehensive procurement process. Hellenic Lotteries' previous license recently concluded, and the company was able to successfully obtain a new license, permitting it to manage and operate passive lotteries and scratchcard games in Greece for the next 12 years. Kicking off the successful partnership and its newly obtained license, Hellenic Lotteries introduced 14 new scratchcard games in May. At the same time, the lottery operator has the capability to enter the online vertical with digital lottery propositions in the near future. The Greek scratchcard games offered by Scientific Games are produced at the company's European Center of Game Production Excellence, located in the UK. Currently, the Center services more than 40 lotteries located within the EMEA region. Besides a range of scratchcards, the alliance grants Hellenic Lotteries access to an expert sales support team that monitors the delivery and security of games.
