The Seminole Tribe of Florida, which owns and operates six casinos across the state, has announced the grand opening of its latest establishment, the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel and Casino. This luxury hotel and casino replaces the original Seminole Casino Brighton, which first opened in 1980, and celebrated its grand opening on Thursday.
The new hotel and casino brings a range of amenities
The thrilling opening ceremony drew local guests, executives from Seminole Gaming and the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and state representatives. Among the festivities were a ribbon-cutting ceremony with oversized scissors, a live music performance, and a traditional Seminole alligator procession, symbolizing prosperity. At the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel and Casino, visitors can indulge in numerous gambling options, including 640 slot machines and 18 tables for games like roulette, craps, blackjack, and other house-banked games. The venue also features high-stakes bingo, a smoke-free area with over 100 popular slot machines, and a separate high-limit section with four table games and 42 slots. In addition to gaming, the property offers luxurious hotel accommodations. Notably, it is the first hotel to open its doors on the Brighton Seminole Reservation, providing 100 guest rooms with queen or king beds. Guests can also enjoy amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool with a bar, an entertainment venue, and a gym. For those looking to dine, Seminole Brighton Bay boasts four distinct eateries: Josiah Steakhouse, Marketplace, EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill, and Center Bar. The latest addition to the Seminole Tribe's properties also includes a spacious indoor event area for live performances and a 10-lane bowling alley—the first of its kind for any Seminole venue.
The opening of Seminole Brighton Bay represents a historic moment
Larry Howard, a Councilman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida at the Brighton Reservation, expressed his enthusiasm about the recent grand opening in a press release.
