Sportradar extends data and betting rights deal for Wimbledon

The leading global sports technology company, Sportradar Group AG, has announced it has extended its data and audiovisual (AV) betting rights agreement for Wimbledon.

The company originally secured the AV betting rights via the acquisition of IMG ARENA in a $225m deal in 2025. Now, building on this positive momentum, Sportradar confirmed it extended its agreement with the All England Club, which stages Wimbledon. As a result, the company will continue to deliver data covering both The Championships main draw and the Qualifying Competition. Ultimately, the new multi-year agreement with the All England Club further bolsters Sportradar’s capability to deliver quality tennis data to its partner portfolio across the globe. Overall, the company offers data for more than 40,000 tennis matches annually to its partners. Through the newly extended agreement, Sportradar will continue to deliver innovative betting and fan engagement products, including but not limited to micro betting and player markets that are powered by its real-time odds. Those products are proven to boost player retention and in-play customer engagement.

Paul Davies, the All England Club’s Associate Director, Broadcast, Production and Media Rights, spoke with excitement about the new collaboration. Moreover, Davies pointed out: Ensuring that accurate, official data from The Championships is delivered globally is important for protecting the integrity of our event while supporting innovation in how fans engage with the sport. Moritz Gloeckler, Sportradar’s EVP Rights and Strategic Projects, was similarly excited. He spoke about the global popularity of The Championships, adding that the renewed multi-year agreement enables Sportradar to deliver accurate, real-time data. By integrating advanced live markets and micro betting capabilities, we’re enabling our partners to deliver more immersive engagement throughout every point, game and set, Gloeckler said in conclusion. Earlier this year, Sportradar bolstered its iGaming business with the launch of Playradar, a fully integrated ecosystem of cross-vertical gaming experience.
