Super Technologies, previously recognized as the Superbet Group, has revealed its intention to acquire Crafting Technologies, a software development company located in the Cluj-Napoca area of Romania.

The acquisition will bring Super Technologies’ first hub in Romania

Super Technologies is planning its first dedicated technology hub in Romania following its acquisition of Crafting Technologies. This significant step will enhance their already impressive development network, which includes sites in the Netherlands, the UK, Brazil, Spain, and Croatia. Although Super has confirmed its acquisition plans, the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, and regulatory approvals are still pending, as stated in a press release. As part of its expansion into Cluj-Napoca, Super plans to initially create 50 new jobs and incorporate Crafting Technologies' engineering team into their broader business operations. With over 900 software engineers and developers currently employed at their existing centers, Super is set to strengthen its workforce further. The acquisition also brings Crafting Technologies' internal talent academy under Super's wing. This dedicated program focuses on developing new engineers and enhancing the skills of current ones, which is expected to be crucial for Super's long-term development and growth.

He said, Romania’s mature and competitive tech ecosystem offers specialized engineering skills crucial for Super’s future plans. Simsensohn concluded by highlighting Cluj-Napoca's vibrant mix of innovation, operational efficiency, and proximity to their regional hubs.
