Suppliers and gaming businesses are flocking to the UAE
Recently, Fennica Gaming obtained a Gaming Related Vendor License in the country, joining other companies in doing so. At the end of May, Scientific Games announced it had also acquired a lottery license, expanding its options in the local market. Notably, Novomatic had already entered the market in mid-April. However, some companies, such as MGM Resorts International, are still waiting for approval. MGM is seeking a license to develop a casino resort complex, potentially including a casino. The regulatory body has remained silent, likely giving the upcoming Wynn Al-Marjan Island project time to establish itself, with construction underway and an opening planned for 2027.
