BC.Game has expanded its global reach through a new license in Nigeria. The permit, issued by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority, allows the operator to further expand its footprint in the African market.

BC.Game secures regulated market entry in Nigeria

The new license also comes after BC.Game secured an entry in Kenya in 2025 and launched in the local market, with the latest move considerably strengthening its local presence. The Nigerian license sees the company roll out its sportsbook and online casino product and portfolio, establishing its regional footprint. The news was welcomed by BC.Game CEO Kar Kheng Giam, who said that the company was determined to continue expanding in new regulated markets. Nigeria is home to one of the most passionate sports fanbases in the world, with a strong culture around football and a rapidly growing interest in digital gaming. This launch allows us to bring those elements together in a market with significant long-term potential, he added. BC.Game has maintained a global presence. Last year, the team renewed a sponsorship deal with Leicester City, with such sponsorships coming under scrutiny in the United Kingdom. Nigeria’s sports betting and online casino market has proven fairly attractive to companies and suppliers, with several high-profile stakeholders entering the jurisdiction over the past several years, among which are EveryMatrix and 7777 Gaming.
