Under the new eight-year contract, Brightstar Lottery will enhance the Missouri Lottery's retail and digital platforms. As part of the agreement, Brightstar Lottery will implement its OMNIA platform and introduce second-chance promotions and the Connected Play loyalty program. This partnership will enable the Missouri Lottery to enhance its digital capabilities by offering special loyalty rewards and second-chance opportunities. The contract also includes the introduction of innovative new retail equipment from Brightstar Lottery. Brightstar will deploy its upgraded communication network and various equipment, comprising 5,250 Retailer Pro S2s, 250 GameTouch Draws, 2,220 GameTouch 28s, 1,250 Digital Menu Boards, and 75 GameTouch 20s. The introduction of this advanced technology is expected to significantly enhance customer engagement. Simultaneously, the Missouri Lottery aims to improve its operations by providing greater versatility, reliability, and convenience on a larger scale. In recent developments, Brightstar Lottery has completed the sale of its Gaming & Digital business, generating approximately $4.0 billion in net cash proceeds. The company plans to use $2.0 billion for debt reduction and return $1.1 billion to shareholders.
