This new jackpot surpasses the previous high of $10.4 million that was claimed back on February 8, 2025—and it’s likely to stand as the state’s biggest prize of the year. The excitement within the community is palpable, with Ed Hamed, the store manager, noting that locals have been buzzing about the news. Calls have been pouring in to congratulate the store, and with good reason. Thanks to the winning numbers, 5, 9, 14, 18, 22, and 23, the store itself receives a $146,000 bonus. “In the nine years I've managed this location, this is the largest winning ticket we’ve ever sold. We’re beyond thrilled for the winner, and I personally could not be more excited,” Hamed shared. While the winner has chosen to remain anonymous and details about their prize claim are still under wraps, Hamed has plans for the store’s share of the bonus. “We’re going to reinvest it back into the business—remodel both the inside and outside to create an even warmer welcome for our customers and hopefully draw in new faces,” he explained, eager to enhance everyone’s experience.
