Altenar, which has agreed to provide its premier betting solution to Starcasino in the Netherlands, is also a member of IBIA. Over 80 companies and 140 betting brands have joined the Association to support the integrity of sports betting. IBIA monitors more than $300 billion in sports betting transactions annually, and as a member, Starcasino will contribute by sharing data. This latest collaboration further expands IBIA's presence, and the Association now represents approximately 90% of the licensed and regulated sportsbooks in the Netherlands. IBIA's global monitoring network is designed to detect potential match-fixing or manipulation attempts in regulated betting markets. As a result, the Association works with regulatory bodies to impose sanctions and penalties on potential offenders. According to IBIA's most recent report, summarizing its first-quarter activities, 63 suspicious betting alerts were reported during that period. These reports led to sanctions against 17 players, officials, and clubs in 2024.
