In 1985, he became a chartered accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. From 2004 to 2009, Wang gained extensive knowledge and experience in accounting, investment banking, and finance by holding several senior-level positions. He served as a director of Melco from November 2006 to August 2016. Additionally, between 2011 and 2019, Wang was the Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of Summit Ascent Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
