Scientific Games achieves NCPG's iCAP Ready accreditation for its iLottery program.

Scientific Games, a prominent global gaming company that supplies technology, services, and retail and digital products to government-sponsored lotteries and sports betting programs, has announced a significant achievement. Earlier this week, the company revealed it has received an iCAP Ready supplier accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), a respected American nonprofit organization.

The iCAP Ready accreditation is a specialized version of the Council's Internet Compliance Assessment Program designed for suppliers. This accreditation confirms that Scientific Games adheres to the highest standards of consumer protection on its iLottery platform. It highlights that the platform fulfills the necessary user requirements for safe online lottery participation. To achieve this certification, Scientific Games underwent an independent evaluation by experts in responsible gaming. Throughout this process, the company’s player protection framework, tools, and responsible gambling policies were thoroughly examined. Additionally, the assessment reviewed Scientific Games' employee training and its overall dedication to promoting safe gambling and ensuring compliance. Earning the NCPG's certification is a significant achievement for Scientific Games, a leading company in the gaming industry that supports over 30 lotteries with its iLottery technology and solutions. Earlier this year, in March, another company within the gambling sector, PrizePicks, also received iCAP accreditation from the NCPG. Prior to that, the globally renowned gaming company International Game Technology (IGT) was granted iCAP Ready accreditation by the NCPG.

In late March, Scientific Games and the Florida Lottery renewed their longstanding partnership, which began nearly 40 years ago.
